The Kojima Tourism Guide Association (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) conducts walking tours to show the charm of the Kojima and Shimotsui areas in Kurashiki City.
To ensure that all visitors can enjoy our services, and that our staff and associates can carry out their duties safely, the Association has established the following policy based on the Customer Harassment Prevention Act, which will come into effect in 2024.
1.Response to Customer Harassment
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited, regardless of the circumstances:
- Acts of intimidation, threats, discriminatory remarks, or verbal abuse that deny personal dignity
- Excessive demands such as prolonged coercion or repeated requests of the same nature
- Actions that unjustly damage the Association’s reputation, including slander on social media or false reviews on platforms such as Google
If any of these behaviors are confirmed, we will immediately suspend service and consider reporting to the police or relevant authorities, as well as pursuing legal action.
2. Protection of Personal Information
The Association uses personal information—such as names and contact details—obtained during reservations or inquiries solely for the purposes of providing guide services and necessary communication. 3. Handling of Photographs and Videos
The Association may take photographs and videos for the purpose of documenting activities and promoting our work. These materials may be published through the following channels:
- Official website
- Social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook)
- Newsletters, flyers, and other printed materials
Images in which individuals are clearly identifiable will only be published with the subject’s consent. If you have any concerns regarding the use of such images, please inform our staff. Photographs that include minors will only be used with the consent of a parent or guardian.
4. Use of Web Analytics Tools
To analyze website usage and improve our services, the Association utilizes the following tools provided by Google:
- Google Analytics
- Google Search Console
