President’s Message

It has been nearly 3 months since I assumed the role of Chairman in April,2025.
In January 2025, we relocated our office near Jeans Street and installed new equipment, allowing us to welcome everyone with fresh energy.
Recently, we’ve seen a steady increase in visitors to the area surrounding Jeans Street and the historic Nozaki Residence. More people are stopping by our Guide Association office to pick up brochures or make inquiries, and we’re gradually receiving bookings for guided tours as we head into the autumn season.
We are also placing greater emphasis on welcoming inbound tourists and are committed to taking on new challenges to enhance our experience.
Locally, there are exciting developments such as the reopening of the Washuzan Rest House and the charming bridal procession at Shimotsui Port. Our Guide Association is eager to share the latest regional highlights with all our visitors.
Lastly, we are deeply grateful to the 10 new supporting member companies who joined us as of the end of June 2025, bringing our total to 43. Thank you sincerely for your continued encouragement.
We look forward to your warm support as we move ahead together.
